To maximise this significant contribution we have a dedicated HR manager who continuously develops and implements HR policies and procedures in line with current legal requirements and best practice. Many of these Policies and Procedures are designed to assist our employees in maximising their contribution to the business through continuous support, training, development and progression within the business.
Health & Safety
Finishing Touches Cleaning believes that health and safety is of paramount importance which is why we strive to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for it’s entire staff and others who maybe affected by the operations we preform.
To achieve a safe and healthy working environment we continuously strive to improve our health and safety through training, auditing, communicating to employees, suppliers and customers. With continual development through compliance with statutory duty and adoption of best practice.
Responsibility of Health & Safety is at owner / management level and is supported operationally by the Health & Safety Manager and departments.
Finishing Touches Cleaning is pledged to consistently provide a high class service, which conforms to the specified requirements of it’s customers and any regulatory body.
To provide a consistent high quality service we have established a Quality Management System ( QMS ) which is developed and continually improved upon, we ensure that the customers needs are identified and fulfilled; the importance of customers needs is communicated throughout the business and the employment of several internal systems as a means of monitoring effectiveness of the QMS.
Finishing Touches Cleaning is conscious of the impact that our business operations have on the environment in which we work.
At Finishing Touches we are driven to remove or minimise such effects wherever possible through using environmentally friendly materials, new environmentally focussed technology and changing, where applicable, the way we preform our operations.
Responsibility of our Environmental strategy is at owner / management level and is supported operationally by the Environment Manager and departments.
Finishing Touches Cleaning continually works with its suppliers and customers on environmental initiatives and continuous development of our key Environment Goal of minimising the effect our operations has on the environment.
To demonstrate our commitment and focus on removing or minimising our impact on the environment Finishing Touches Cleaning have established an Environmental Management System ( EMS ) which has been independently audited and resulted in achieving the BS8555 accreditation
Finishing Touches Cleaning have launched an unique bespoke designed ‘Finishing School’ which primary purpose is to develop a training and development culture and training delivery and coordination for the business.
Training undertaken by staff includes inductions, in house training programmes and also external industry and profession specific training.
Finishing Touches Cleaning believes that access to training and development within the business for all staff assist the organisation in it’s delivery of service, by increasing staff knowledge, preformance and aiding retention.
